Why We Love It

Classic and timeless! This ring has a beautiful center stone, emphasized by minimal prongs and a sleek knife-edge band! These minimalistic principles can’t be overstated. The way this absolutely stunning Old European cut diamond is paired with such a simple, subtle design is pure elegance.

Art Deco Jewelry

What exactly is Art Deco jewelry? How does the Theresa ring follow or deviate from Art Deco design principles? Well, first of all, Art Deco was a style that came to prominence in the 1920s. Across many mediums—from architecture to cars to fashion—Art Deco focused on geometric shapes and symmetry, with a nuanced industrial feel (generally speaking).

These principles are front and center with the Theresa ring. The breathtaking diamond, for instance, rests in a gorgeous platinum setting. Platinum was one of the most popular metals in Art Deco jewelry, after all. And speaking of the diamond, it’s an incredible antique stone that was a favorite among Art Deco purveyors—an old European cut beauty! We just love the simple elegance of this knife edge diamond engagement ring. The clean, linear band that plays off of the two-tone setting is Art Deco all the way!
