The Josephine Ring is a vintage Art Deco emerald engagement ring circa 1920! This incredible stunner centers a GIA Certified old European cut diamond weighing 3.04 carats of K color, VS2 clarity. The diamond is held in a 4 tab-style prong platinum setting. To each side are three staggered baguette cut diamonds that combine for approximately 0.30 carats. To the north and south is a vibrant square-cut, bezel-set emerald, each weighing 0.10 carats. The ring is further decorated with 16 single cut diamonds lining the outer edge. The ring is size 5.5 and can be resized to most sizes!
Why We Love This Ring

All of this is packed into one, low-profile stunner! Don't miss this beautiful Art Deco emerald engagement ring!
Diamond & Emerald Engagement Ring Meanings
Every ring tells a story. What about yours?
Diamonds: Diamonds represent strength, resilience and purity. With its large central stone, baguettes and diamond halo, the Josephine ring has all sorts of lovely diamonds!
Emeralds: Emeralds commonly symbolize beauty, memory, cleansing and positive energy. Josephine’s north-south emeralds can represent your good memories with each other and the happy times yet to come. Bonus if a birthday or anniversary is in May!
Art Deco engagement rings can be identified by their linear, geometric patterns and bold designs. The Josephine ring is a prime example of Art Deco style. Its bold, geometric cuts really make the central diamond pop! The fine millegrain detail in the platinum setting further helps to highlight the beauty of the stones while keeping the overall design clean and absolutely elegant!
Eco-Friendly & Conflict Free!
At Victor Barboné Jewelry, we are committed to environmental responsibility and ethical procurement. Beyond their inherent charm and rich character, one of the major advantages of vintage engagement rings is that they are eco-friendly and ethical. Because vintage rings like the Josephine ring are passed along through the generations, there is no need to mine additional resources to create a new ring—and no pollution from the process. Vintage jewelry is also removed from the cycle of conflict sometimes associated with the contemporary diamond and gemstone industry. You can breathe easy knowing you’ve found a great Art Deco emerald engagement ring!
